Product Design and Engineering
Executing on a well-specified engineering task is challenging, but, beyond a point it is simply viewed as delivery of low-cost engineering services. Real value accrues when one traverses the full journey, from an idea to a commercially delivered and supported product. Many engineering and technology companies, including R&D labs of MNCs, in India are waking up to the potential returns when this transition is made. We have created this workshop to bring together engineers from diverse companies who have a track record of excellence in engineering delivery and who are aspiring to become product designers and engineers.The workshop on PDE will bring together aspiring product engineers to explore the multiple dimensions of bringing a product into existence. You will learn from two of the pioneering product engineers of India, Dr. Swami Manohar and Dr. V. Vinay, who have been part of visionary products in the mobile, internet and life sciences spaces for the past decade and more. Building a real product is a long journey. This workshop will equip you to embark on that exciting journey.
